First - I just have to say - I think I hobbled rather gracefully to my car this evening. I channeled my inner ballerina {ha!} and walked only on the tippie-toes of my left foot. I definitely got a few strange looks, but I think they were just admiring my grace. Navigating the stairs was interesting, but I made it. Hopefully I can say the same for my shoes after I take them in to be repaired.
Other than breaking shoes and ballerina dancing to my car, I spent some time perusing Anthro's website today. So many pretty things. I totally understand how people feel when they go to the pound and want to take home all the animals. I feel the same way about all the lovelies at Anthropologie. They must be mine. It breaks my heart to leave them behind at the store.
All I need is some sunshine for these sundresses & free shipping. What is with Anthropologie never offering free shipping? If anyone knows the secret, do tell. I'll love you forever.

i've heard that if you sign up for their "anthro" card, you'll get a discount during your birthday month. but, unfortunately haven't heard anything about the free shipping.
{Came across your blog last week... enjoying it!}
I loooove the first dress, and the fourth one :) Too bad Anthro is so $$$ :(
that orange dress with the fuffled neck is CALLING my name Melissa!!! Anthro and JCrew are the ones who never have free shipping, unless you spend $$$$$ of money-haha!!!
Oh, Anthropologie....why must you tempt me so? :) Orange is the worst color on me, yet I am drawn to that ruffled dress!
Cute! I am totally dying for all of Anthro's spring stuff!
Great stuff! I can't wait for warmer weather so I can wear pretty dresses and sandals and bright colors again! All this dreary weather has even killed my desire to shop! Things are bad.
I'll take one of each, please! :)
God, i love Anthropologie. Funny, I use "PLT"s too. MJ inspired me. Maybe you planted the seed in my head, though :)
I think I am the only person in the whole wide world who doesn't "get" Anthropologie. Maybe it's because it's not at all in my budget, and there isn't one within 200 miles of me!
Ahhhhhhh, stop it. I want everyone one. I want to LIVE in that last number!
Love everything! :)
Actually Anthro has free shipping for the whole month of March! The only catch is it's for members only, so if you're not a member-you can sign up online for free in mere minutes and they will immediately provide you with your account code!
Just an FYI, the second dress-while very cute-is made of rather stiff canvasy type fabric. It kind of billows/sticks out around your entire body and with the extremely short length...well I have a tough time imagining it flattering too many body types. I am 5'8, 120 pounds and when I tried it on, I found it looked rather hysterical (the print was cute though!).
Also, the third dress (also super cute and I totally fell in love with it when I saw it in store) the top is extremely thin, like very worn t-shirt material, while the bottom material is heavier and a bit more stiff. The problem results in the weight of the bottom portion of the dress pulling down on the top so unfortunately I just found overall it didn't seem to work.
The top dress though was PERFECT!
I agree with RN Mama. I don't get Anthro and there is one right up the street from me. Is this stuff cute? Absolutely. But I just refuse to pay so much $$$ for things that Mrs. Life Accounts accurately described (in not these words) as crappy fabric. Sigh... It doesn't mean I don't admire it though. It just never looks or feels like high quality once you try it on.
