Kate, girl, you've left me in quite the lurch.
I know it's hard to tell from the crummy Blackberry picure, but there are six tiny screws that used to attach the shoe to the heel. Not so much anymore. The screws are now protruding and won't go back into the holes they used to occupy - leaving the shoe totally useless. How the hell am I supposed to get from my office on the 6th floor of my building to my car on the second floor of the parking garage across the street with one damn shoe?
This is going to be good...

if not, these are my absolute favorite comfy black patent flats: CK Babe pumps. They are seriously comfy, as in I wore them to a ball hours after my half marathon and lived to tell about it...

Oh bummer! I hope you intend on taking them right back to the place you bought them from!! They come with some type of warranty right????
Definitely get them repaired! Or maybe forward this post to someone at Kate Spade and ask their opinion on what you should do? Maybe that will help!

I had that happen to my favorite pair of heels and I was crushed. On a related note, I just bought a new pair of Dollys by Calvin Klein and they are SO COMFORTABLE. They are just a basic black pump but they are a good price, comfortable, and very classic and professional.
Take them to a cobbler lady!
I hope you have a good cobbler person! Our guy is in the mall in a kiosk and charges like $12 for excellent work! Those shoes are beautiful so good luck!

Last month, my 6 year old's strap on her black Mary Janes broke. She was partially responisble, so my husband was being all hard on her about it. We were at the mall, and she was literally hopping around! People were starting to look at us like we were ghetto, so I broke down and went and bought her some shoes.
This happened to me one night while at a casino in Biloxi and I ended up stubbing my toe and my blood was all over the casino, they called security and I had to give some stranger money to go buy me cheap ass flip flops...so I said the same thing. DAMN SHOE!
