It was chilly (by Florida standards) well into March this year. Towards the middle to end of March, the sun came out and we enjoyed gorgeous sunshine filled days in the 70s and 80s. Then, as quickly as it came, it was gone.
Today was disgusting.
Humid and HOT.
Gross.
So, in total, we got about 5 weeks of spring this year. I can't help but feel a bit ripped off.
Oh well. When life gives you lemons - make lemonade.
Or, in my case, go to Sonic and get a Diet Cherry Limeade.
The perfect cure to this hot, humid day. {And to the nasty sore throat I've come down with. Yuck.}
Hope the weather's better where you are!
*I'm guessing you're all feeling jipped right about now too. Jipped out of an actual post. Sorry. Apparently I'm 80 and have nothing better to talk about than the weater. I'll try to step up my game.

97* is just way too hot. You can't even enjoy being outside. It's been in the high 70's/low 80's here which isn't too bad. Hope it cools off for you soon!
And I must be missing out because I hear everyone talking about these cherry limeades and I've yet to have one!

April, of course I'm thankful for that. Hopefully you recoginzed the tongue in cheek tone of this post and did not think it I was truly despondent over the warm weather.
You are exactly like me!! I get DCL's when I'm feeling a bit sick too! Hope the weather cools down for you and that your sore throat goes away soon!
