I'm in the midst of a little sisterly disagreement. A topic (of the utmost importance, of course) came up for discussion today and it seems that my sister and I are on two different sides of an issue.
What is this pressing controversy, you ask? No, no...not health care reform or defense spending. Not Team Jen or Team Angelina. And not whether it's appropriate to wear white after Labor Day.
Something much more important. This. Is. Serious.
Which is the superior 80's movie: Teen Witch or Sixteen Candles?
OR
I know, it's ridiculous to even ask the question. Sixteen Candles is clearly the superior movie. Unfortunately, my sister - bless her heart - is under the mistaken impression that Teen Witch is a better movie. Even more regrettably, a substantial majority of our friends responding on Facebook have agreed with her. Blasphemy!
Blog friends, I need your opinions. Tell it to me straight. Which is the better movie - Sixteen Candles or Teen Witch?
If you love Louise & Madame Serena and you're on Team Teen Witch, shout it out in the comments. (Top that!)
If you're on Team John Hughes (RIP) and heart Jake Ryan, cast your vote for Sixteen Candles.

Teen Witch is by far the superior movie. If you get Molly Ringwald to sing "Top That", I'd reconsider. Little known Teen Witch fact...sadly, Louise didn't really get the guy in the end. Brad and Randa are married in Real Life.

Sixteen candles is definitely the winner on this one...although I have to admit, I own Teen Witch, and watch it on the regular- "So top THAT!" (lol, the rapping scene is so hilariously cheesy)

To be fair, I've never seen Teen Witch! I'm adding it to my Netflix cue pronto and will report back. I highly doubt it would top 16 Candles though...great movie!

Never saw 16 candles... but teen witch was one of my FAVORITE movies growing up! I didn't know that anyone else knew about it! I used to want to be Louise! Loved the "Top That" part :) Great memories :)
Definitely TEEN WITCH! and can I just say that I am soooo glad that I am not the only one obsessed with this movie!
