I am obsessed with the smell of my laundry detergent - Tide with Downy, April Fresh. I've always used Tide, but usually buy powdered detergent. I recently switched to the liquid because I was tired of yanking a giant box of Tide down from my laundry room shelf. Holy amazing smells coming out of my dryer. I'll never go back.
I made these cookies last week. They were good. VERY GOOD. Jess at The Novice Chef never lets me down.
The Mister is finally ready to buy a new car. Hallelujah! I thought this day would never come. I think he finally realized the old Explorer is no longer safe and not worth sinking more money into. Let the miserable experience that is car shopping begin!
I've said it before, I'll say it again. I have a TV problem. I just ordered Big Bang Theory Season 3, Parks & Recreation Season 1, Community Season 1 and 30 Rock Season 4 on DVD. When the packages arrived it felt like Christmas morning.
I have a big box of Halloween and fall decorations in my garage and no desire to put them out. It just doesn't feel like fall to me yet. I can't blame the weather because it's never cool in Florida at this time of year. We'll see if the fall spirit finds me by Halloween.
My parents celebrated 31 years of marriage this week. How great is that? Congratulations & Happy 31st Anniversary Mom & Dad!
Today was randomly declared a jeans day at the office. My level of excitement about this is slightly concerning to me.
I had chicken fingers and Kraft Mac&Cheese for dinner last night (secret single behavior). Apparently, I'm 4.
I scored last minute reservations to Seasons 52 tonight to celebrate my husband's promotion. The food is amazing and so is the wine list. The restaurant is on a lake and the weather should be beautiful tonight, so I'm really hoping we can get a table on the patio overlooking the water. If you time it just right, you can see the fireworks from Disney World over the lake! Now if only the work day was over and it was time to get the weekend started...
Happy (almost) weekend!

Ha love your humor! we are alike that way :)
I must try those cookies..thanks for sharing the recipe!
Your dinner last night sounds amazing...I always have things like that when I am just cooking for myself too. Well..that or a bowl of cereal!
I embrace my TV problem. I'm jealous of you having Big Bang Season 3. I want to get it!
It's totally ok to eat like a preschooler. I do sometimes!
We just ordered Seasons 3-6 of Law and Order:SVU on DVD and my best friend loaned me the first SEVEN seasons of ER, haha! I have a problem, too!
And today is not jeans Friday at my office. But the denim trousers I wore are a snub at the dress code :) So far, no one has noticed or cared...ha!
Jealous of jeans Friday. And, I have had lunch at that Seasons 52... one of my properties is in Dr. Phillips. I'm not normally a huge fan of "chain" restaurants, but they know what they're doing. It's pretty good. Enjoy!!
Mmm, seasons 52 sounds delicious! I will have to put that on my list of places to-eat the next time that I come to Orlando. Enjoy your weekend pretty girl!
I ate lunch at Season 52 Tuesday. The Tuna Crunch Salad is to die for. Lucky me every Friday is jeans day, and I still get crazy excited every Friday! Have a great weekend!!!
My dream is that one day we'll have jeans day at my office. Although the company has been open 20 years and there has NEVER been a single day that jeans were allowed. I guess I shouldn't hold my breath.
Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad and Congrats on the promotion to B!
Yay! I love random blog posts. I buy about 3 linen-scented candles a week!
I had Kraft Mac & Cheese for dinner on Sunday. I never buy the stuff, but I had a weak moment in the grocery store. It lasted about 45 minutes in the house before I cooked it and ate the entire box. The piece of salmon I bought for my dinner went uneaten.
What kind of car are you guys looking at getting? My hubby's about due for a new car too.
And everyday at my office is jeans day. I hate it. I wish we only had random casual days b/c everyone here dresses like going to a redneck family picnic instead of work. You wouldn't believe the fashion inappropriateness - flip flops, cut offs, t-shirts, tank tops. Eww. This is a professional office, people! I miss the conservative dress of a law firm SO much. (wow, that really makes me sound like a stuck-up brat)
My hubby loves Big Bang Theory...I agree..its like Christmas morning when DVDs come in the mail. Its so much better snuggling on the sofa on a dreary day and watching 4 or 5 episodes.
Have a great date with the hubs!
TV problems are great because I firmly believe that you learn from TV. Criminal Minds has taught me so much. :) I hope that you have a wonderful weekend!
Mmm weren't those delicious! I am seriously considering making a huge batch and freezing the batter! ...but then I remember I don't need any help not fitting in my fat jeans.
Congratulations to your parents! That's quite an accomplishment! Sadly, I can't remember the exact number of years my parents have been married, but it's nearing 40!
I had to laugh at your chicken finger and Kraft dinner, that's definitley something my kids would eat!
Those cookies sound DELISH!!! Congrats to your parents! And congrats to your husband - dinner with wine is THE best way to celebrate! Hope you all had fun!
