Our tree is up! While not quite a Christmas miracle, I'm pretty happy that it's finally done.

I just have to point out to my mom - look under that tree. My presents are bought, wrapped and under the tree. Neener neener! Better get caught up! :) Just kidding Momma - I love you!
I'm feeling extra thankful this year because we've already used our fireplace - twice! It was pretty chilly here last week and it will be even colder during the early part of this week. Chilly weather is always a welcome surprise for this Florida girl. It gives me an excuse to pull out my scarves!
The vase above is filled with fresh cranberries. I think it looks so fun and festive! Thanks to Mom for the idea.

The Mister proposed at Disney World during Christmas time. Snow was falling on Main Street and the castle was lit up with Christmas lights. It was beautiful. We picked up this ornament the night I said yes!

That's the Florida Governor's Mansion. B worked in the Governor's office from 2004 - 2006.
Picked this one up at Restoration Hardware last week.
So there you have it - our decked halls! I'd show you the lights outside but...well, we haven't put them up yet. Oops!

Your house is so festive! We aren't doing any fires in the fireplace this year, due to the 20 month old who is fast as lightening AND knows how to open the doors :) Sad, I LOVE good fire on a chilly day.

I love your coordinating wrapping paper and bags! That's one of my favorite parts of decorating. I just told my husband last night that I was really liking our paper this year. He just sort of looked at me. Clearly you understand since yours are all pretty and neat!
