I cannot lie - I love awards shows. I love the gorgeous gowns, the inevitable fashion disasters, the suspense of who will win the big awards and the tearful speeches from grateful winners. I can't get enough.
I like to record the Red Carpet pre-show so I can get a good look at all the gowns - and fast forward through the awkward interviews. Here are my favorite gowns this year:
My favorite Golden Globes moments - Katey Sagal winning Best Supporting Actress for Sons of Anarchy, Chris Colfer's awesome acceptance speech, Annette Bening winning Best Actress in a Comedy for The Kids Are All Right, and Jim Parsons winning Best Actor in Television Comedy for The Big Bang Theory. I loved The Kids Are All Right and The Social Network so I'm glad they took home the big wins.

I loved Natalie Portman's pregger dress. The red rose with the pink silky gown was so beautiful. I think she's just a class act. Her acceptance speech was sweet too. Love her. I also really liked Eva's gown too. The back was gorgeous! She's another class act.
Julie Bowen was my favorite. I also thought Robert Downey Jr. was really funny.

i'm totally missing some kind of girl gene when it comes to award shows and red carpets. the dresses are definitely gorgeous, but for some reason i'd rather watch worst cooks in america. ha! maybe it's because i'd have to be dead for 6 months to even consider being able to wear something like that. ha!

I love everyone except Angie. Then again, I just don't like her, so maybe that is why I hate her dress.
What were our thoughts on Natalie Portman? I think she could have done better. Aren't her and Zack Posen like BFF?
Loved Amy Adams dress and was SO BEYOND THRILLED for Katey winning the award for Sons of Anarchy. Like, I got a bit teary!
