I ate McDonald's for lunch today. A plain double cheeseburger with fries - and it was ahhh-mazing.
It was so good it made the severe guilt over eating that kind of crap worth it. Does anyone else feel incredibly ashamed to be seen in the McDonald's drive thru? Something about pulling away from those Golden Arches makes me feel like I just kicked a puppy (or something equally terrible).
Every time I see someone wearing sunglasses inside I have this irresistible urge to make a smart ass comment. I just cannot help myself. Don't they know how stupid they look?I've yet to actually make a snarky comment and likely never will but boy is it tempting.
After dinner last night, I was craving dessert. I ran up to the grocery store and came home with a box of these.
There were four in the box. Between B and I, we've already polished them off.
My mom might have better fashion sense than I do. She just picked up these adorable espadrilles:
How cute are they?!?! Despite being a major klutz who has tripped over her own feet more than once, I can't help but wish I had a pair of my own. Still, I think I'll put 4 inch heels on hold for the next six months.
I hadn't heard the Justin Bieber "Baby" song until this week's episode of Glee. I kinda liked it.
Whew, that feels better. Anything you want to get off your chest?

Girl, I'm with you on everything you mentioned here!
I don't eat Mickey D's much at all, the last time I went there was maybe in the summer. I don't even eat fast food, but I loove Mickey D's double cheeseburger and I have to admit they have the best fries! And when I do go, I feel guilty driving away! Hah!
Everytime I see someone wearing sunglasses inside, I also wanna make a snarky comment! It bothers me so much!
Looooves me a McD double cheeseburger plain. I can finish it off before I merge back onto the road from the drive through. And there is my confession of the day!
I love a McDonald's Burger and Fries! I do feel guilty though after eating it! :) LOVE those shoes!!!
kinda love that song as well. and glee. and you're totally allowed to have mcd's whenever you darn well feel like it! you've got a good excuse :)
1. None of those are horrible things!
2. I ate peanut butter from the jar this weekend.
3. I need those sandals.
Nothing to feel guilty about!! My big sis had a happy meal on her way home from work every day when she was pregnant.. I always thought that sounded like a wonderful idea.
Your mom has great taste.. Those shoes are awesome!
You know raspberry turnovers are my favorite...thanks for saving me one! jk
I too sometimes crave Mickey D's! It so good, yet so bad! lol! Once in a blue moon is not bad..
One of the first interactions I ever had with my husband, he had his sunglasses on inside for some weird reason. I decided to confront him about even though I barely knew him. He tilted his glasses up, looked me in the eye and said dead seriously "Don't you know, the sun never sets on the cool." And to think this wasn't an immediate and permanent turn-off.
Oh, and yea, we all did Mickey D's and in our life now and then. It wouldn't be American, otherwise.
I too ate McDonalds this weekend and am terribly ashamed! Also I have to wear my sunglasses indoors on occasion because they are prescription and I forget my glasses so I put on my sunglasses to see from time to time, but I am always embarrassed! HA
a splurge every now and then is totally worth it--mine would be papa johns pizza--HAHA!
Love those shoes - although I'd probably fall in them. Not graceful. At all.
oh my gosh, i'm jealous...i've been craving mcdonalds the past week or so. i even know exactly what i want including sauces for nuggets ;) haha!
those peeps that wear glasses inside look foolish, i just don't get it! and it seems to be a growing trend, ah!
the shoes your mom got are adorable!! i'm better on wedges then i am with flats! :)
hope you had a great weekend hun!
I love Bieber. I said it.
Don't be ashamed - I ate McDonald's twice this weekend...in Vegas...it was so awesome at 3am.
Those shoes are awesome! Who makes them?
I have a secret love of Bieber...that makes me embarrassed...
love it all ... especially the shoes! how fun! not quite practical for teaching 5 year olds, but i still may need a pair for good measure. :) love that you're not depriving that sweet baby of the good stuff ... keep it up, mom! xoxo friend!
I feel 100% trashy going through the Taco Bell line...does it stop me from practically making love to my 7-layer burrito with extra sour cream. Hell no.
I love mcdonalds AND taco bell....total guilty pleasures!!!
Oh, and I have Bieber fever. and I'm 25. and married. Inappropriate!!
I totally feel your pain about McDonald's! I've recently rekindled my relationship with McD's chicken selects, and feel like total crap carrying my McDonald's bag into work. I feel like everyone is judging my poor choice!
