I have so much to be thankful for. Life isn't perfect but I can't help but think that I am a very lucky girl.
I am beyond blessed with an amazing husband. The crazier I get, the sweeter he is to me. I've been particularly nutty lately and he hasn't batted an eye. Lord how I love him for that! My family who loves me unconditionally - and has yet to complain that every other sentence out of mouth is baby-related. (Mom & Jill, thank you for listening as I ramble on about cribs and names and every other boring baby topic under the sun.) And I'm beyond thankful for a healthy little baby who is growing bigger every day. (See, there I go again. Baby. Who is currently the size of a turnip, in case you were wondering. They put the strangest crap in those weekly pregnancy update emails. And here I am passing it on to you. You're welcome.)
On top of all those big things, there are so many other little things that have me thanking my lucky stars.
My sweet friend Jill sent the most thoughtful package of baby goodies. These are Baby B's very first gifts and are so special to me!
Books for Baby B's library (one of my very favorites - Love You Forever) and the softest little lovey for Baby B to snuggle up with. Thank you so much Jill - you are too kind! (She is also flippin' hilarious. Her blog has me rolling on the floor laughing. Every. Darn. Time. If you're not reading, you should start.)
I had the best time at lunch today with a good friend. We sat and talked forever, long after lunch was finished. In fact, we talked so long that we overstayed our validated parking and ended up having to pay a little extra for our time in the parking garage! It was well worth it to sit and catch up with a good friend. I'm so glad we work close by one another and can get together for lunch so often.
I'm also thankful for the awesomely delicious quesadillas and queso we ate at lunch. And for the giant brownie I picked up for the second time this week at the deli next door to my office. (I probably won't be so thankful when I go back to the doctor and they tell me I've given myself gestational diabetes by eating too many brownies!)
My Mom knows that I've been looking for a cookbook stand for some time. She found the perfect stand and sent it up to me. Isn't it great?
It's hard to see from the picture but it has these weights at the end of a chain on either side, to keep the pages flat. So handy! I love it. Thanks Mom!
I'm also thankful to be gainfully employed. I should get back to work and stop blogging so I can keep that job!
Hope you're all having a great week. Who else is excited for Thursday night TV? Big Bang Theory, Parks & Recreation and 30 Rock - by far my favorite night of TV!

LOVE Thursday nights on NBC! :) Love the cookbook stand, where did she find this? It's gorgeous!
Love you Forever, is my mother's all time favorite book! She would read it to my brother everyday! It's the one book that I give to new mommies! They love it!
Sorry to burst your bubble, but every single show you just posted isn't on tonight. REPEATS...total bummer. You are welcome to join us at your favorite watering hole for the Magic/Heat game, but the lack of cocktails you are allowed to consume might just make you depressed (that and how the Magic have been playing lately). Not to ruin your good mood or anything. I bet that brownie was still good! =)
Oh yeah, love you too! And I love hearing about my little newphiece. (that's nephew/niece if you didn't catch my flow. This is why shim works better.)
love you forever is such a cute book!
you are a very lucky lady to have such good friends!
I love all the "boring" baby topics! But it's probably cause I'm preggo too. =)
And I LOVE the cookbook stand. I need something like that. Where did your mom find it, I wonder?
My mom found the cookbook stand at a little shop in Sarasota, Florida called The Hidden Gate - but that's all I know. She reads the blog so if she has any more information on it, I'm sure she'll share!
I love everything about this post. I love reading about Baby B! Those books are so sweet. That cookbook holder is awesome! I haven't seen one like that before. I've been looking for a good one!
Hate to break it to you, but all of our fave shows are repeats tonight... major bummer! :(
So glad you found my blog via twitter! I loved your blog about pregnancy test anxiety...I had to take a digital one to for confirmation!!
Love the cook book stand!! Girl dont sweat all the baby talk. It took me forever to accept that about myself, but oddly enough my blog readers nearly doubled when I started talking about baby all the time! ha and I for one, love hearing about it all!
I just almost teared up a little, my mom used to read me Love You Forever all the time. Such a great book.
