I've got nothing but random thoughts and useless information for you today. And I'm giving it to you in bullet points. Can you say L-A-Z-Y? That's me.
Let the randomness begin.
* My iPad2 arrives TODAY! B ordered it weeks ago for my birthday and I've been waiting rather impatiently for it to arrive. I am so excited. It feels like my birthday all over again. I can't wait to get my hands on it after work. If you have any apps you recommend, please share them with me. I'd love your suggestions.
* Tangled is on my Netflix queue. Apparently, I'm six.
* I found this ring at Tarjay. I think it's fun.
And yes, my mouse pad says "That's what she said." Very professional, I know. (Side note: Remember when The Office was funny?)
* Product reviews for baby gear are not helpful. One parent loves Stroller X, another hates it. A product will be listed in two colors on the same website - the pink one has five stars but the green one only has two stars. Same product! I also love the reviews that say "I got this at my baby shower. I haven't used it yet but it's super cute." Thanks. So helpful. And don't get me started on the people who post reviews but do not own the product!!!! GAHHHH. It's enough to make a pregnant woman nutty.
* While we're on the subject of baby gear, I have a question for the people who make the pack & plays, bouncy seats, swings, strollers and other necessary baby evils. Why oh why does it all have to be so ugly?!?! Can we please have one baby item that is subtle and simple without cartoon elephants or butterflies? I understand some items should be bright and colorful to stimulate and entertain baby. Bring on the crazy patterns and colors for a play mat, exersaucer, etc. But for the love all that is good and holy, why does it have to be so hard to find baby items that aren't patterned and busy? (Disclaimer: I promise I'm not the crazy lady from Pregnant in Heels who hated baby gear and wouldn't buy her baby anything. I'm not that crazy. And can we talk about Pregnant in Heels? These people are NUTS! I wish I could stop watching but I can't.)
* Ocean Spray Diet Cranberry Grape juice is sooo good. I get tired of drinking just water but I hate to drink things with calories in them. And my doctor told me to limit how much aspartame I drink. Which means I can't mainline Diet Coke like I used to. I love that this juice is made with Splenda, which my doctor told me was a-okay.
* Did anyone watch the new show on ABC after Modern Family last week called Happy Endings? B and I watched it and thought it was pretty funny.
That's all I've got today. Don't forget to tell me about your favorite apps!

Don't feel bad...I just bought Tangled :) It's so cute!
And one app I highly recommend is Reeder, for reading blogs. It makes it so easy to scan through them all! I just got an iPad 2 for my birthday as well...what great hubbys we have! :)
I watched Happy Endings on my ipad ; ) It was cute! The ABC app is really nice for catching up on TV shows! And of course the Netflix app. I mostly use mine for travel so I just watch a lot of movies and play a lot of Scrabble but I love it! Oh and I use the Kindle app more than ibooks since it's cheaper. Congrats on your ipad finally arriving.. felt like my mom's would never get here from Hong Kong!
Oh my, I have to add Tangled to our queue! It's ok to be 6. :) I love that ring and I remember when The Office was funny. I miss that!
I took my BBBS little sister to see Tangled. Even if I hadn't taken her, I still would have wanted to see it. It was cute!
LOVE the ring!!!
GAHHHHH so jealous of your iphone! I feel like when everybody had smart phones and I was still stuck with my stupid razer.
Also, don't feel bad for having Tangled in your netflix queue, its in mine too!!!!
Do not get me started on pack & plays...can't I just get a black one with all the bells and whistles!?
If we have to pay so much for all the baby gear (that your child will likely be in 2 times), we should at least get to pick what we want it to look like! Seriously, I could set up a daycare with all the equipment I've procured. Oh wait, maybe that would be a better idea considering my children generally despise all of them.
Love the ring.
I loooove your mousepad....i think i need one....
You will wonder how you functioned without your iPad- especially once fantasy football starts back up again! :) That was my favorite use for it.
I wrote a post about my favorites that might be helpful: http://www.mooseandlulu.com/2010/11/ilove.html
My favorites are Words with Friends HD, Food Network In the Kitchen, Epicurious, Netflix, Yoga HD (like having a private yoga instructor, but probably not useful until your little one is no longer hampering your ability to touch your toes) :)
Zite is also a really great one that just came out recently- it scans your blogger and twitter and creates a magazine with articles that it thinks you would find interesting. As you read (or pass by) articles it slowly fine tunes the news to your tastes. Pretty cool.
Whoa... longest comment ever. :) Apologies! Have fun with your new toy!!
SO jealous you're getting an iPad2! I played with one in the apple store and now I want one SO bad! I wanna see Tangled! Ppl who leave stupid reviews are stupid. I think the office has gotten better this season, it was definitely not funny for a couple years but I think they've kicked it up a notch for Michael's last year. and I just caught the beginning of Happy Endings and wish I would have recorded the whole thing! We got into Perfect Couples, it was Hilarious! Kinda like the League but PG-13.
oh yay!! everyone is leaving comments about their favorite apps-I have none so this is useful.
So true about baby stuff-I'm all about pink, but everything I have seems to have a big daisy on it-completely unneccesary.
have I mentioned how many times "carsyn" has watched the princess and the frog?? ;)
Happy Endings was great. I hope it stays on. :)
Oh so much to comment on...
-I can't wait to see Tangled
-I love that ring, so cute!
-Nick and I loved that Happy Endings show
-Yay for your iPad coming, ours still won't be here for 3 more weeks, we're dying!
1st: Tangled was really cute actually. :) 2nd: I've also wondered why th things that baby sits on (bouncers, car seats, high chairs) need to be brightly/obnoxiously colored... the kid sits on them/not plays with them. 3rd: Try the new carbonated Ocean Spray Diet Cranberry juice. Sooo great and refreshing! :)
Right there with you on the ugly baby items. I loathe cartoon characters and anything too bright. Everyone who comes to our house wants to stay in the nursery - no joke - because it is so soothing. The bright plastic drives me insane. Keep looking - there ARE tasteful options for every baby item, I promise!
I really wanted to see Happy Endings and missed it. Glad to hear it is funny!
I love your mouse pad - hilarious.
And yay for your iPad!! I got one (of the old ones) for Christmas and I haven't used it EVER. My husband has though - don't worry, it's not being wasted.
Happy Endings is hilarious! I had first seen the trailer back in the fall when all the new fall shows came out and have been waiting patiently for it ever since. Laugh out loud funny!!
And your mousepad is badass. But I agree, the Office is getting almost painful to watch. Sad face.
Good luck with your baby gear. Just say no to farm animals and fairies patterns!
I want to know how Tangled is, my mom swears it is just precious!
I want to see Tangled too...I am sure it is super cute!
I agree with the baby gear and I don't even have a baby. I am just not into the patterns and animals, etc.
AMEN sista!! Baby stuff is so obnoxious! I wish I could design my own! I too totally identifed with that girl on Pregnant in Heels and now I see why people looked so irritated by what I would say! ha Times changed after he got here needless to say!
Amazon reviews are the most helpful on the gear I think!
I shall email you a list of ipad apps! Cant wait to hear which ones you like! and so excited you got one! You will need it ALOT in the coming months!
Also loved that ring from target
Tangled is one of our favorite movies! Every time I watch it I realize how much more I like it.
Baby gear -- there rarely is a complete agreement on that stuff. Do what works best for you -- or your friends. That's where I got my opinions.
And congrats on the ipad2...so cool!
I don't have any favorite apps but do have a recommendation for baby gear. We LOVE our Phil n Ted stroller!!!!! It is the one item I always recommend. We just had our second little boy and I love how easy it is to pop the second seat on the back for two kids! So easy to maneuver through doors and in stores! It has a car seat attachment so you can use it from infant to toddler! We love!! We bought the sport a couple years ago (which has been replaced by the explorer model) but they are all great!!!

The blog is very good!
Congratulations!

You can see where you are in line for specific movies on Netflix? I never knew this! How do you do it?
And I complain about the ugly colors and bright patterns of baby crap all the time. He doesn't care what it looks like he just wants to eat it!
My most used apps on the ipad are:
Words with Friends
The Weather Channel
How To Cook Everything
Pulse (a news app that I love)
Flipboard (the best way ever to read Google Reader stuff!)
Friendly (Facebook)
All Recipes
Twitter
Rattle (baby app that T1 loves)
ABC Player
Netflix
