Lots of random things on my mind tonight - and most of them are either food or baby related. Sorry, that's just the way it is these days.
* We've made major progress with Baby B's nursery. We ordered the glider (thanks Mom & Dad!), purchased the armoire, and ordered her bedding. I can be very indecisive so deciding on these things was big for me. I'm glad to have them checked off the to-do list.
* The gallon of milk I had in the fridge went bad two days early. I discovered this after I shoveled a giant bite of cereal in my mouth this morning. No bueno. To make it up to my mouth, I went to Starbucks for breakfast instead. I love the banana loaf - and just about everything else in the pastry case.
* Today, the receptionist at my office asked me if I was pregnant. For reals lady? I'm the size of a house. I had to get a bathroom Blackberry picture just to give you guys a frame of reference for how ridiculous a question this was.
Bless her heart.
* Embarrassing admission: I cried during Survivor last night. (We're catching up on a lot of recorded TV.) In my defense, it was a very sweet moment and I am 6 and half months pregnant. I realize my hormones are to blame but I'm still pretty embarrassed. Crying at Survivor is pretty high on the lame scale.
* I wish my couch had cup holders. Okay, not really because that would be ugly but it would be convenient.
* A frozen yogurt store opened up next door to my favorite taco place. Danger Will Robinson!
* Anyone read Jen Lancaster's new book Wish You Were Here? I just got it and am thinking about putting aside Rob Lowe's book to start it. So far, Rob's memoirs are not quite as compelling as his abs. (Have you seen the Vanity Fair cover? Wowza!)
* I made Fruity Pebbles treats on Sunday. Somehow, nearly half the pan has disappeared yet I've only had three. (only three - ha!) Can't imagine what happened to them since B claims he doesn't like sweets. Maybe we have a mouse...
* I'm living in a constant state of fear that my hands will swell and my rings will get stuck on my fat fingers. I've heard too many stories about women having to get their rings cut off their fingers and really don't want that to happen. I also don't want to ditch my rings unnecessarily. So, constant state of fear it is.
That's probably more than enough pregnant lady chatter. I'll see if I can think of something other than food and babies to write about next time - but no promises.

You are so cute! Seriously- I'm sure it doesn't seem that way when it's your body, but you really do look adorable.
Annnd, I really want the non-maternity version of that dress...
You have the cutest pregnant belly!!
thanks for bringing up the Fruity Pebble Treats (again) now I'm craving them. Grrr!
Hope they were yummy for you and the Babe!
Oh man, that poor lady couldn't tell you were preggo! ha! You look awesome! My fingers never swelled, but pretty much EVERYTHING else did :)
You have the most perfect baby bump! Adorable!
What a stylish pregnant momma you are! Seriously, you look adorable! It's completely normal to be emotional I think. I cried at the drop if a hat. Can't wait to see nursery pics.
You look so good! I can't wait to see pictures of the nursery. I'm sure it will be adorable!
Pretty dress! Mmm fruity pebble treats....
I went to Jen Lancaster's book signing last Friday and it was great! I haven't started the book yet but she read a big portio of it and I don't think there is going to be a big change from her memoire style to her fiction style...she even admitted that her new book is about her and Fletch in more of an "embellished" story.
You look so cute!
And don't feel bad crying over Survivor, I'm not pregnant and I get teary over commercials!
I am loving Jen Lancaster's book on my ipod, Rob Lowe on my Kindle and a Jill McCorkle book on my bedside table. (I'm so diverse in my book consumption) Loving Wish You Were Here- it's great. I'm really liking Rob Lowe too, but partially due to a Sam Seaborn obsession.
Fruity Pebble squares?! Delish. Yes, please. Y'all totally have a mouse, duh.
You look so cute!
How exciting to be making progress with the nursery!
Couches with cupholders...great idea!

Milk: so been there! yuck!
Crying: um I totally cried during the season finale of Amazing Race last Sunday.
Nursery: CAN"T WAIT to see it all! I'm sure you can tell I have a love for all things nursery!
Rob Lowe: I've ALWAYS had a crush on him since west wing
Receptionist: that cracks me up! I mean don't get me wrong I think you look GREAT! but really?? You are all belly, what does she think you have underneath there if not a baby! haha
Oh my goodness, the adorableness of your pregnant self! Perhaps the receptionist has been living in fear that she would embarrass both of you if she mistakenly assumed you were pregnant... and thus waited until she was sure you had to be before she asked? Pretty hilarious.
I had to laugh at your first sentence because those two things are all I think about and my baby is 10 months old! Baby and food, yep, pretty much rules my world.
You look adorable and you're right, bless her heart for even asking.
Start the book. I need to know how it is! :)
LOL so funny about the receptionist but you look SOOOO cute! just adorable!
I said the SAME thing about couch with cupholders when I was pregnant! HA
water, water, water! drink lots of it to prevent swelling!!I drank a ton of water and didn't have any swelling with either of my pregnancies!!
"Bless her heart." ~ HA!! But seriously lady??
You super cute prego you!
Can't wait to see pics of the nursery!!!! p.s. We have a cookie monster in our house. Sometimes he likes to eat ice cream too. Except with the chocolate sauce poured IN the ice cream tub instead of in a bowl. Yeah. I've put off kids at least another 3 years.
You are too cute!!
I love your wish for a couch with cupholders... haha, made me laugh out loud!
I want to see nursery pics!!
And woman, you look friggin' AMAZING!!!
I have actually wished for cup holders on the couch before too. What is scary is that they actually do make those.
